Why do the Raspberry scones look like blueberry scones?
Our scones are mixed and rolled by hand. The delicate raspberries exude some of their juice in this process. This juice reacts with the baking soda and butter- milk and turns bluish as it oxidizes.
Is it fresh?
If you want fresh baked goods you’ve come to the right place. We bake all of our baked goods fresh every morning, unlike most other coffee shops and some bakeries that get frozen baked goods that were produced long before you came to buy it.
What kind of ingredients does Patisserie Margo use and do you guys use any pre-made mixes?
We have never ever used a mix in the ten years we have been open. We use the best flours, heavy cream, butters, and chocolates that we can get. We use fresh squeezed juices for our curds and fresh frozen fruits for all of our muffins and scones.
Does Patisserie Margo’s make any low fat or low calorie baked goods?
Of course we make the best tasting low fat and low calorie baked goods around. All you have to do is share your baked good with a friend.
